Senior League grade players graduate to a full adult sized diamond. The bases are 90ft (27.4m) apart and the pitcher throws from 18.44m.
Player development continues in this grade and is classed as a competitive grade within the Auckland Baseball Association competition. This means all games are scored and game results and statistics are recorded and maintained within Baseball New Zealands scoring application - Pointstreak.
Many of our players have played through from 13U however new players join every year at this grade and soon learn the skills neeeded to play the game.
The clubs focus, like in the Intermediate League, is on developing strong youth baseball players. The Senior League provides a great entry level to full diamond play and a pathway to the competitive Big League (19U) grade.
