SENIOR LEAGUE (16U)
Senior League grade players continue on a full adult sized diamond. The bases are 90ft (27.4m) apart and the pitcher throws from 18.44m.
Player development continues in this grade and is classed as a competitive grade within the Auckland Baseball Association competition. This means all games are scored and game results and statistics are recorded and maintained within Baseball New Zealands scoring application.
The club's focus is on developing strong youth baseball players. The Senior League provides a great development level and a pathway to the competitive Big League (19U) grade. Training would be on Monday and Wednesday at Stafford Park from 4:30pm and games are played at 9:30am on Saturdays.
However, we have been unable to form a 16U team for the 23/24 season. Our players have been made available on loan to other clubs and we look forward to welcoming them back in North Shore colours for 24/25!
