New Zealand has now moved back to a red traffic light setting under the Covid Protection Framework (CPF) at 11:59pm Sunday 23 January 2022.
With the Omicron variant now circulating within our communities in NZ, Baseball New Zealand and Auckland Baseball have made changes to guidelines to enable us all to continue to deliver and play baseball safely and successfully throughout the current season.
Masks are encouraged whenever possible. This includes players, volunteers, parents and family members who enter training or game areas
Training is limited to registered players only
ALL players must sign in using IDME for every training session and game
Scan the QR code at each venue
Maintain 1 metre distance at all times
Use sanitiser provided
It is now mandatory for all participants of baseball who are aged 12 years 3 month and older, to provide proof of vaccination via My Vaccine Pass ( this is effictive and applies for any baseball from Saturday 29 January 2022 )
If you are unwell and/or experiencing cold or flu like symptoms you must remain at home and seek medical advice
Current Covid-19 regulations mean we need to maintain a record of all who attend club events. This includes all training sessions, games, and group gatherings and will include everyone - players, parents, coaches, volunteers.
Most players will have iDME set up from last year, so you are ready to record your next visit.
For those new to iDME, its a quick and easy process to set up! Once set up, remember to record the venue code on each visit to register your attendance.
You dont need to download an App. Simply use your phone to visit www.idme.co.nz
